Ph.D. opportunities I'm always looking for students with a strong background in physics, math, and quantitative Earth sciences. If you have a BS degree in one of the above disciplines (or, more generally, in natural, computer, or engineering sciences), and interest in any of these research areas, you may consider applying for a Ph.D. program at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego. Send me an email for more details. Some details on the application process and a link to the on-line application form can be found here.
